2018 Taleris Board of Directors Election
There are a total of five (5) candidates running for four (4) open positions on the 2018 Board of Directors. Two (2) of the candidates are incumbent (current) board members, and three (3) are non-incumbent.
The incumbent candidates are: Mary Jane Camarato and Louis Vocaire-Tramposch. The three non-incumbent candidates are: Benjamin Carnahan, Andrew Netzel and Stephen Franks. Benjamin Carnahan is a non-incumbent candidate for the 2018 Taleris Board of Directors election. He currently serves as a member of the Taleris Credit Union Advisory Board. Ben is an Attorney specializing in financial services, real estate and business/commercial law and is currently employed as a Partner at Dinn, Hochman and Potter in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Kent State in 2002 and went on to the Cleveland State Marshall College of Law to earn his Law Degree in 2005. Ben serves his community as a Volunteer Class Instructor for a Rights, Responsibilities and Realities Program which is a landmark program connecting lawyers, judges, law students, and paralegals with high school students in Cleveland and East Cleveland schools.
Andrew Netzal is a non-incumbent candidate for the 2018 Taleris Board of Directors election. He currently serves as a member of the Taleris Credit Union Advisory Board. Andrew is a Marketing Director for ASMGi in Cleveland, Ohio and has also been employed as an Associate Editor for Cleveland Magazine and as a reporter for large circulation newspapers in Vermont and Alabama. He earned his degree in Journalism from Kent State University and is pursuing an MBA in Marketing from West Texas A&M University. In his spare time, Stephen serves as a member of the Planning Commission for the City of Geneva, Ohio.
Stephen Franks is a non-incumbent candidate for the 2018 Taleris Board of Directors election. He currently serves as a member of the Taleris Credit Union Advisory Board. Stephen is an Attorney and is employed as a Vice President and Assistant Council at Huntington National Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. He has also served as the Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Lyndhurst and as a Senior Bankruptcy Attorney for Weltman, Weinburg and Reis in Cleveland, Ohio. Stephen graduated from the University of Cincinnati and earned his Law Degree from the University of Akron School of Law. In his spare time, Stephen volunteers with the Lyndhurst Dad’s Club as a Volunteer Youth Sports Coach.
Louis Vocaire-Tramposch has been a member of Taleris Credit Union since 2007. He has been on the Taleris Advisory Board and is currently serving as a Director on the Taleris Board of Directors. Louis graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and is currently employed as an Attorney and a member of the management team for PICS, which is a national inventory company providing inventory services for Giant Eagle, Heinen’s and Dave’s Supermarkets. Previously, he was the President of J.V. Janitorial Services.
Mary Jane Camarato
Mary Jane Camarato is the current Chairperson of the Board of Directors. She joined the Taleris Board in 1976 and, aside from her tenure as the Board Chairperson, she has held the position of 1st Vice Chairperson on the Taleris Board of Directors and served on numerous Board Committees. Mary Jane is also the Chairperson of the Liberty Hills Condominium Association and Treasurer of the Friends of Solon Center for the Arts. She is also a Member of the Senior Advisory Board of the Solon Senior Center. Ms. Camarato is retired from Ameritech after 43 years of service.
